Tartarus

Knowledge of this place is limited to intelligence obtained through Seances with The Caretaker. What follows is a partial compilation of information provided by numerous seances over the years.

Tartarus is an Ethereal plane constructed by the Elder Quorum to confine the dark energy manifestations created by The Oppressor at The Battle of The Line.

Presently, Tartarus is ruled by The Oppressor, who was once a member of the Elder Quorum before rebelling against the other Elders. Little is known about the affairs of this underworld. 

Occasionally, a demon from this world will transgress onto Earth masquerading as a regular reincarnation. These occurrences create CLOG events that Census Agents are tasked with resolving.
